Walter Zettl's "A Matter of Trust" DVD Library

Walter Zettl is one of the world’s most accomplished and revered masters of classical dressage and a sought-after clinician and coach.  His “Matter of Trust” video series focuses on a harmonious partnership between horse and rider. 

The “Matter of Trust” series documents Walter A Zettl’s classic dressage training techniques. The series covers the basics of the gaits through the advanced movements including piaffe, passage and pirouettes. Zettl’s message of maintaining a partnership with the horse at all levels of training is emphasized throughout the series. Each training technique is demonstrated and supported with Zettl’s detailed narrative on the exercise.

Along with volumes one through four, we have added a fifth DVD with many extras including more interview clips with Walter, expanded ride sequences showing Walter in action, and even Walter working with top reining and western performance horses- demonstrating the universal application of classical dressage training.

Walter Zettl’s extensive experience, superb communications skills and patient approach to the training and execution of the movements, make this collection an invaluable training tooling. The videos show each movement in slow motion, while Walter explains the timing of the aid used to produce the movement making the process very easy to follow.
